For Sale: 1971 Ford F250 “The Duke” This classic beauty, nicknamed “The Duke” by its original owner, has been in our family since we purchased it from him. My husband, Brian Ferrari, loves this truck, but unfortunately, it’s time to let it go to focus on his health and recovery. In February 2022, Brian was struck by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run while riding his skateboard with a helmet. Since then, he’s endured three brain surgeries, leaving him with a titanium plate on the left side of his head and a permanent shunt on the right. While his short-term memory has been affected, I’m incredibly grateful he’s still with us. He currently resides in a memory care facility, and I take him out regularly for outings to keep him engaged and stimulated. Every time he sees “The Duke,” it lights up his face. Restoring this truck for him was a dream of mine, but I simply can’t afford it right now, and his health is my top priority. Proceeds from the sale will go toward his rehab and recovery. One day, I hope to get him another truck to enjoy and make more memories with. This Ford F250 is a solid piece of history with a lot of character and love behind it. If you’re interested in giving “The Duke” a new home, please reach out. Serious inquiries only, as this sale means a great deal to our family. Thank you for considering.
